1. Acceptance of terms

By using the Saddle & Soil Foundation website and services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

2. What we provide

Saddle & Soil Foundation offers equine experiences, agricultural education, wellness programming and community-centered learning. Our website gives information about our work and lets you contact us, sign up for news, volunteer, partner and give. There are no user accounts on this website.

3. Program participation

Taking part in our programs requires the forms and waivers we ask for. Participants must follow all safety guidelines and instructions from our team around horses, animals, tools and the land. We may refuse participation to anyone who does not follow our safety rules. Our programs are educational and experiential; they are not therapy and are not a substitute for care from a licensed health professional.

4. Donations

Donations support Saddle & Soil Foundation's charitable programs. Donations are non-refundable except in cases of processing errors. We provide a receipt for every gift; your receipt states how the gift may be treated for tax purposes. Monthly gifts can be cancelled at any time by contacting us.

5. Volunteer services

Volunteers agree to complete any required training and background checks; follow all safety rules and team instructions; keep information about participants and programs confidential; and report any incident or concern immediately.

6. Text messages

Saddle & Soil Foundation sends text messages only to people who agree to receive them by ticking an optional text message box on one of our forms. Depending on what you agree to, we text about the inquiry, registration, application or gift you sent us, and, if you also tick the second box, occasional news about programs, events and ways to give, up to 4 messages a month. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to cancel at any time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent is never a condition of registering, volunteering or giving. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

Content on this website, including text, logos and graphics, belongs to Saddle & Soil Foundation or is used with permission or under license, and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

Saddle & Soil Foundation is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our website. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
